Rubber Duck Round Up Supports South Texas Lighthouse For The Blind

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Have a "quacktastic" time at the Rubber Duck Round Up this Saturday that benefits the South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind.

Sarah Acosta was live for 3News First Edition at the South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind manufacturing facility with who truly benefits from Saturday's event.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cole Park. Families can adopt a rubber duck or groups of ducks from $5 to $100. Once the ducks are dumped into the bay, they will be raced to the finish line. If your duck wins, you will be rewarded with prizes.

Other quaktivities include a petting zoo, pony rides, a kids zone and an area for other community non-profits.
