CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Police are investigating the death of a 56-year old male whose body was found Wednesday morning laying in the atrium of a business building on the 5100 block of Flynn Parkway.

It was around 7 a.m. when an employee of one of the businesses housed in the building arrived to work and found the victim on the bottom floor atrium. The body was next to a set of elevators that service the six-story building.

Officers closed off the building to any employees that were arrived to work, and began identifying and questioning employees that were already inside the building at that time. Detectives are still looking to find out why the victim was in the building and if anybody else was involved.
