Police Arrest Man Who Allegedly Stabbed a Dog, Threatened Family

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Police arrested a 38-year old male who they say stabbed and killed a dog and threatened three family members at a home in the 4700 block of Johnston Drive, a street that runs between McArdle and Sunnybrook, just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers caught up with the suspect, identified by family members as 38-year old Carlos Guadalupe Villanueva, and arrested him just before 6 p.m.

Officers were dispatched the home just before 3 p.m. When they arrived and made entry to the house, they were able to get the family members out. However, the suspect had already left the scene. Police believed the man could still be armed with a knife.
