Sinton Excited For Return to State

Posted: Updated:
SINTON (Kiii Sports) - The Sinton Pirates will be looking to add another chapter to their storied history at the state tournament. Meanwhile their opponent Argyle is writing their first chapter with their first ever appearance in Austin.

The Pirates will be hoping to add a fourth title to their trophy case this week. They admit they don't know much about their semifinal opponent, other than the fact that Argyle won the 3A football title this past fall, so they should be athletic.

Sinton and Argyle square off Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Longhorns' Disch-Falk Field in the 3A State Semifinals. The winner will face the College Station HS/Lubbock Cooper winner in the 3A Championship Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
