Local Attorney Indicted by Bexar County Grand Jury for Barratry

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A Bexar County Grand Jury has indicted local attorney Paul David Andrews, who has been charged with three felony counts of barratry, a legal term for illegally soliciting clients with intent to obtain an economic benefit.

The indictment was officially filed May 29 and states that Andrews solicited clients on three separate occasions between the June and November of 2011.

According to his law firm website, Andrews has litigated a wide variety of employment claims involving employee discrimination, sexual harassment, racial discrimination and wrongful termination.
