Eric Dimick Asks Judge to Reword Charges Against Him

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Eric Dimick, the last of three suspects charged with kidnapping and raping an 11-year old girl back in 2012, wants the wording of his charges to change.

His lawyer, Ken Botary, told Judge David Stith that the wording used in the indictment would make his client appear as though he was actually involved in the sexual attack.

Dimick, according to evidence, did not take part in the act, but is charged as an accessory. He and two other men, Colton Visor and Jacob Musich, were charged with the kidnapping and rape of an 11-year old girl. Musich has been sentenced to life in prison for his part.

Visor was sentenced to 30 years and is expected to testify against Dimick as part of the deal. The trial is set to start in about two weeks.
