CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Police are looking for the driver of a truck that crashed through two fences and slammed into a home in the 1000 block of McClendon Street just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to police, the driver was heading southbound on Staples when the vehicle left the road, jumped a curb and crashed through the two fences. It ended up in the bedroom of the home. Witnesses told police that the driver, who was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans, walked away from the scene.

The family who lives in the home said that their brindle pit bull mix, Lucky, got loose after the crash. They think the dog ran after the suspect, and said he is not aggressive and they would love to have him returned.
