Texas Game Warden Association Fishing Tournament Kicks Off in Fulton

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Get ready to cast those fishing lines for the Texas Game Warden Association Fishing Tournament at Fulton Harbor this weekend.

To sign up for the tournament, head out to Fulton Harbor, 400 Fulton Beach Rd, Fulton, TX at 5 p.m. Friday. The tournament will take place at 6 a.m. Saturday with weigh in at 4 p.m. at Fulton Harbor.

Participants can fish anywhere they'd like and anyway, off a pier, boat or wade fishing, as long as they make the 4 p.m. weigh-in. The tournament fee is $100 and children under 12 fish for free.

All proceeds go toward the non-profit, Texas Game Warden Association, which provides opportunities for youth to stay active in Texas fishing and wildlife.

After the tournament will be a music concert open to the public at Fulton Harbor Park 4 p.m. Saturday, tickets are $15. The music lineup includes: Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Cory Morrow and Bri Bagwell.
