Hypnotherapy book The Chi of Change Best Seller in UK Released in USA

Posted: Updated:
Such was the buzz around “The Chi of Change”, a ground breaking book on hypnotherapy by British hypnotherapist Peter Field, that two weeks before its release it had already topped the Amazon UK best seller list on pre-orders alone.

On the day of its release, it rapidly climbed to the number one position in each of its categories.

Hailed by expert American reviewers as “an important new approach to mental and emotional healing,” and “impressive”, “The Chi of Change” has now been released in the US and appears destined to repeat its UK success here in North America.

British reviewers have called it a ‘must-read’ for anyone suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, overeating, phobias, depression, trauma, insomnia and low self-esteem.

The book reveals how such disturbing states can be overcome and the person freed to move into a freer, more balanced life without recourse to medication or drugs.

US psychiatrist and author of the best selling book “Forgive to Win”, Dr Walter E. Jacobson MD said, “Peter Field clearly and concisely explains the way damaging programming from our past gets locked into our subconscious mind and generates dysfunctional emotions and behaviors which traditional psychotherapy and psycho-pharmacology do not effectively address.

Jacobson adds that the book “demonstrates how hypnotherapy can be used to disrupt the maladaptive subconscious programming once and for all, thereby healing people and freeing them to live emotionally stable and satisfying lives.”

The “important new approach to mental and emotional healing” remark came from another US reviewer, Dr F.S.Starr MD, also a psychiatrist, who said, “It is a book that should be required reading for every therapist and for anyone contemplating therapy.”

In “The Chi of Change” Field not only draws on his more than 30 years of international hypnosis experience, using fascinating real-life case histories, but also brings personal stories from his own life, commencing from his early days as a lost young man; alcoholic, drug addicted and homeless, sleeping in shop doorways and under bridges.

The author writes that emotional and mental balance can be achieved through harmony with a person’s chi—the “life force” comprised of energy and information that is manifested in what we human beings call “feelings”. He explains how modern advanced hypnotherapy can help a person to accomplish this.

This inspiring, well-researched book will resonate with anyone who has ever experienced emotional or mental difficulties—and is seeking a long lasting solution

The Chi of Change, a 393-page paperback, is available online from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other outlets, and may be ordered from all good bookstores.
