CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - The family of seven-year old Jordan Arredondo, who died after a TV fell on him back in March, is suing his daycare and the maker of the TV stand. They are asking a jury for at least $1 million in damages for their son's death.

Ruby Arredondo and her husband, Edmund Nation, have hired local attorney John Flood in a negligence case filed in County Court At-Law 1. The couple are going after the Mary McLeod Bethune Day Nursery and ACCO Brands Corporation.

ACCO built the cart which held the television that landed on and killed Jordan at the day nursery.

Kiii News Reporter Michael Gibson looked into the case and came back with the details.
