Armed Man Spotted at Southside Apartment Complex, Suspect Runs from Police

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -      Residents of one apartment complex where shocked as police had their guns drawn looking for a suspect who gave chase Sunday afternoon. The foot chase happened just after 3 Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of Barry Street at the Woodbury Place Apartments.
    Police say they got a call about a man wandering around the apartments waiving a hand gun.
    When police believe they spotted the suspect, he took off causing officers to lose sight of him.
    Residents then told police at the scene that they think the suspect went inside a vacant apartment.
    Police searched the apartment but no one was there.
    The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20's with an average height and weight.

    Corpus Christi Police say two people are under arrest for capital murder in connection to the death of a 6-year-old boy, Wednesday night. Officers have not yet released the names of the suspects, or their relationship with the child.The death happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Fig St. Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of the boy having seizures; he was rushed to Driscoll Children's Hospital where he later died.More >>
