Miller H.S. Alumni Handing Out Water at Local Bus Stations

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Some Miller High School Show Band Alumni members were out at local bus stations Thursday handing out water to those waiting in the heat.

"Our whole purpose is to keep our residents cool with this heat, and it's Dump the Pump day, so we teamed up with RTA to pass out water at their substations," Miller Alum Daniel Esparza said.

The Dump the Pump program aims at getting more people to choose public transportation or carpooling instead of taking their own vehicles. All in all, the Miller alumni handed out over 50 cases of water.
