CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A local businessman was lucky to escape with just minor scratches and cuts after he was allegedly attacked with a knife in the home of a 36-year old customer just before noon Monday.

Police were called out to the 500 block of Clifford Street after the incident occurred. The 50-year old victim told officers that he had sold 36-year old Johnny Heath two wind turbine generators a couple of months ago but had never received payment, so he went to Heath's home to retrieve the property.

According to police, the victim told them that Heath welcomed him into his home, but when they entered the kitchen, Heath allegedly grabbed a knife and began stabbing at the victim.

Officers arrested Heath without incident and transported him to the City Detention Center. He now faces a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
