KINGSVILLE (Kiii News) - It's the only federally-funded viper research center in the nation, and it's right here in South Texas -- the National Natural Toxins Research Center housed at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

The Center just received a $2.5 million federal grant that will fund its operations for the next five years, and on Friday, 3News was able to visit the "serpentarium," where all the snakes are kept.

Kiii News Reporter Mike DaSilva was there and came back with the details.
