CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A man who was allegedly high on synthetic marijuana was arrested Tuesday afternoon after climbing on the roof of a westside home and beginning a loud rant.

Viewers sent in cell phone video of the man. It happened around noon in the 4500 block of Leon, near Gollihar and Greenwood. The owners of the home were not there when it happened, and witnesses said the man was smoking synthetic marijuana just before getting on the roof.

"I just heard somebody yelling 'help, help,' witness Gracie Lacour said. "We decided to come over here and see what was going on."

"He was like, talking to God, saying things," witness Alicia Cantu said. "We couldn't hear that good, but they took quite awhile to get him down."

It took police about an hour to get the man off of the roof. He was charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
