Xadrian Martinez' Body Allowed To Return to Port Lavaca

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A decision has been reached as to where a 6-year old little boy allegedly killed at the hands of his mother's boyfriend will be laid to rest.  This, following a dispute between the mother's side of the family in Corpus Christi and his biological father's side of the family in Port Lavaca.

The County Attorney in Nueces County released Xadrian Martinez' body to his biological dad, Ruben Saenz and his grandmother. A family spokesperson tells 3News the 6-year old will be buried in Port Lavaca, however they are still in the process of making funeral arrangements.

police say the boy's stepfather, 27-year old Albert Villarreal struck young Xadrian after he soiled his clothing. Reportedly, Villarreal then grabbed the boy by the neck until he was unconscious and then slammed him into a refrigerator.
Villarreal is now behind bars and faces capital murder charges as well as Xadrian's mother, Nancy Rae Martinez.
