SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY OVER SOUTH TEXAS LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY AS A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVES FROM NORTHERN MEXICO ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN TEXAS. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE MAIN THREAT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ACTIVITY. PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM 3 TO 4 INCHES WITH
ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF 6 INCHES POSSIBLE EAST OF INTERSTATE 37. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WEST OF INTERSTATE 37 SHOULD RANGE BETWEEN 1/4 OF AN INCH TO 1 INCH...WITH ISOLATED 2 INCH AMOUNTS. IN ADDITION...SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BE STRONG AT TIMES...BUT SHOULD REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS.
