These are photos from this year's parade of the 43rd Annual Watermelon Festival held in downtown Falfurrias. The theme of the parade, which took place on Saturday, June 12th, was "Stars and Stripes." The festival, which includes a watermelon auction, helps raise money for the Falfurrias Volunteer Fire Department.
