Alexis Williams got to attend the Camp Zephyr 2008 trip this year with Yorktown Baptist Church. She isn't a member of the church, but the people at Yorktown Baptist Church treated her like she was a longtime family member of each one of their homes.
The camp took place across July 9 - 12, and she got to participate in events such as canoeing, archery, swimming, basketball, volleyball, teatherball, and much much more.
Places like Camp Zephyr, and people like the folks at Yorktown Baptist Church are the types of things we need to see more of in our local communities. Alexis not only found new friends, but a new family, and a new church.

I remember going as a youth myself, and was sponsored by someone in the church I attended. This is a good place for summer and youth, we need more of them affordable.
