We have lots and lots of birds in our backyard..everything from turkeys to hawks to green jays to cardinals....but we have one mystery bird that does this crazy dance on our window sill... does anyone know what kind of bird is yellow and black that has yellow feathers pop out of his head????

Please help identify what kind of bird this is...We had a few at our window all summer. It's a noisy bird when it does its little dance!! I can not find it in my bird books. Thanks!! :)

I believe it's a Great Kiskadee (flycatcher). Breeding behavior involves the shivering of their wings and raising the yellow crest on top of the head. They are renowned for their noisy calls. Can be found in S. Texas to Agentina. Pretty bird.
