“The first annual South Texas Cobras Valentines Baseball Tournament was a huge success...all of our teams did an excellent job! Thank you to all of our parents, players, coaches, and teams for making this a great event! In the 14U division, Sinton took the championship game, Joseph Rubio from Kingsville pitching a No Hitter in the Championship game. Another Kingsville baseball player, Donny Diaz helped the Sinton team take the Championship. The GP Wildcats took the 2nd place spot, after defeating Robstown in the Semi-final game. In the 12U Division, two teams battled it out for the top spot, Team Havoc came out on top, taking the championship game against our 2nd place team, The Bombers from Oso. The 2nd place team had some help from some local Kingsville Baseball players as well, these players are from the Select team, The Wolverines, they are: Mark Vela, Daniel Gaona, Jay Meza and Nick Perez. Both Mark Vela and Daniel Gaona pitched for the Bombers and helped The Bombers clinch the 2nd place spot. In the 10U Division, The Renegades were champions, defeating the Outlaws...who took the 2nd place spot for that division. All of our teams did an outstanding job and we appreciate the support! The South Texas Cobras will be hosting another tournament in April @ Oso...check our website for more details www.leaguelineup.com/southtexascobras”
