I got asked by my Sharon Casady to attend the Living History Museum that was put on by Windsor Park Elementary on March 9, 2009. There was no way I was going to pass up this photo opperatunity and some quality time with my son.

The entire 1st grade chose a Historical Figure, completed research, and provided Powerpoint Presentations along with a 3D presentation as well.

Parents and Students were allowed to go visit all of the presentations, and even ask the children questions about their Historical Figure.

Joseph Williams chose to represent John F. Kennedy. I talked with him, and asked him questions regarding his figure. He told me in great detail about the Bay of Pigs Invasion, Russian Missile Crisis, JFK sending troops to Vietnam, and even his assasination. Remarkable that we have kids in the 1st grade who are knowledgeable this in depth about history.
