The 12U South Texas Cobras baseball team took 1st place in the March Madness Baseball tournament in Shiner, TX this weekend. The team did an outstanding job to win the Championship. The team had several homeruns for the weekend by the following players: Dustin Canales, Kobrey Garcia , TJ Kassner, Mason Maupins, Omar Medrano and Aaron Hernandez. Taking charge of the game pitching for the weekend were the following players: Nicholas Colecio, Omar Hinojosa, TJ Kassner, Aaron Hernandez, Mason Maupins and Dustin Canales. All of our players did an outstanding job, with solid defense and great hitting bring in several RBI's, including Marcus Medrano, Austin Munoz and Andrew Olivarez. Special thanks to Oscar Colecio for earning us a donation from Coil Tubing Services that paid for this tournament for the Cobras.
