The local band "Scurvy Otto & the Rickets" reunited after 25yrs to record their 1st Lp, half of which was recorded at the same studio the Beatles made famous-Abbey Road studio 2. The band spent 3-12hr days in studio 2 where not only the Beatles but Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Mick Jagger, Stevie Wonder, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers and other great bands recorded.
The other half of our album was recorded in Austin at 5am studio. Both sessions were recorded last summer between May and July of '08. We are the only local musicians to ever record at the legendary Abbey Road Studio in London, and we have the Lp, pics, and vids to prove it!
