Since the death of Michael Jackson, my sons' both Joshua 8, and Jacob 6, have been listening to non stop music tracks from non other than the King of Pop. When the question was asked what would you like to be this Halloween my oldest right away said "you know the answer to that mom, MJ". And what a way to honor one of the most amazing artists and dancers ever. So right away I got material and my sewing machine and put my little fingers to work. I made MJ's famous sequince jacket from scratch, no pattern just talent, as well as his sparkly socks that were shown off by his slightly high water black slacks, he wore a v-neck white tee just as MJ wore on most of his tours while he danced to Billy Jean, yet, the show stopper was his silver glove and black fedora hat. He wore the whole get up to the "THIS IS IT" movie Wednesday, and people couldn't help but stop and want to touch his glove and jacket. The oooo's and ahhhh's continued to follow that Saturday on Halloween. It was indeed the best Michael Jackson costume I have yet to see. And I believe others will agree.
