Haley Williams is an award-winning multiplatform producer for 3News and has been a local journalist since 2012. Haley is originally from Wichita Falls and moved to Corpus Christi in 2009. She graduated from Del Mar College with an associate's degree in journalism, where she received the Walter Furley Communication Scholarship. She then graduated cum laude with her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi.
Haley has always had a passion for being in the newsroom, as she spent a lot of time in one as a child in Wichita Falls. Her close family member was a newscast director there while she was growing up.
Haley began her career as a camera operator at 3News in 2012. She quickly moved on to producing newscasts for KIII-TV and is now a Senior Digital Content Producer for the station. Haley received the 2018 Associated Press First Place award for Digital. She was also nominated for a national TVNewsCheck Social Media Excellence Award.
Haley is a mother of two and has a passion for music. She enjoys playing the guitar in her spare time, which she continues to teach herself.
