Kristin was born and raised in Columbus, Texas -- not Ohio! She was involved in many organizations throughout high school, but the most impactful was her time in the FFA where she was able to develop critical skills and appreciate the importance of all facets of agriculture.
A proud Aggie, Kristin graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Meteorology. During her time there, she was on the Texas A&M Weather Broadcasting team for three years, and had meteorology internships with KXAN in Austin and KBTX in College Station, Texas. After graduating, Kristin joined the KIII-TV Weather Team in December 2021.
Her favorite weather is cool and rainy -- perfect for reading at a coffee shop, which is likely where you'll find her outside of the studio! When she's not on television, Kristin enjoys reading and cooking. Her favorite meteorology topics are radar, tornadoes, and hurricanes.
