Teens learn how to paint a mural during summer camp

K Space Contemporary hosted the artsy summer camp

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — K Space Contemporary in Corpus Christi hosted a different type of summer camp this year.

The Summer Mural Arts Program was offered to teens from ages 13 to 17. For an entire week, the teens are immersed in art and learn problem solving skills that can be applied to all areas of life.

This week, teens learned how to paint a mural. They were able to contribute to a mural that has been worked on by previous camps.

Throughout the previous mural camp sessions, students worked on two murals; one will be displayed at La Palmera Mall and the other in Downtown Corpus Christi.

There is one session left, to register visit the K Space Contemporary website.
