A massive 3 alarm business fire on the city's west-side sends 3 people to the hospital.

2 of the injured people were fire fighters who were battling the blaze. It happened just after 3 am when authorities received the call that heavy smoke could be seen coming from the second story of a business on Morgan. The business is called Bernice's Resale Shop.
Crews quickly responded and when they arrived heavy flames began coming from the first floor of the building.
According to fire officials a portion of the outside wall fell on firefighters who were battling the blaze.
Both fire fighters were taken to the hospital. One of the fire fighters had an injured shoulder, and the other had an injured leg.
A third person who was actually staying inside the shop was also hurt.
Fire officials said the man badly burned his feet and he will be taken to the San Antonio burn unit.
Captain Daniel Valdez said, "in buildings like these, there's always that risk especially when the older buildings have collapsed. So we always try and operate as safely as possible, but in certain incidents are unavoidable and the guys took the necessary precaution and moved to where they could."
Fire fighters have been on the scene throughout the day to make sure remaining hot spots don't get out of control.
fire investigators will go back to the scene on Monday to try and determine was started the blaze.
