Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease affecting tens of thousands of children and young adults every year. The 5th Annual Great Strides Walk of Corpus Christi benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help with research and treatment.

Doctor Jon Roberts, a pediatric pulmonologist, and 20-year Michael McBride a 20-year old patient with cystic fibrosis talked about living with the disease.

This year's walk will feature a "fun For All" area with face painting, arts and crafts, and giveaways.

The Great Strides Walk is Saturday, November 10, at Heritage Park located at 1581 N. Chaparral Street. Check In is 8:00 a.m. Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
