CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The sixth annual Mexican-American Studies seminar from Del Mar College will be happening Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th. Friday will be from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Del Mar College Center for Economic Development.
The seminar provides people the chance to learn more about art, literature, music, and the Spanish language.
This year’s Mike M. Anzaldúa Jr. Keynote Address features author Cecilia Garcia Akers and over the course of both days will be presentations from faculty and staff of Del Mar College, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
