Searching for solutions via your dreams is the underlying message of a book written by five-time national bestselling author Victor Villaseñor, and he spent the last couple of days in the Coastal Bend.

Villaseñor was on the Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus talking with students about the subject of his bestselling book, "Burro Genius." The three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee said the idea to write the book was based on the many counseling sessions given to him by his grandmother as a child.

If you would like to hear more from author Victor Villaseñor, he will be the keynote speaker at Wednesday's Outstanding Community Leaders Banquet, which takes place at 6:30 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Omni Bayfront Hotel.

Kiii-TV is a proud sponsor of that event.
