Corpus Christi animal rescue group providing aid to Louisiana rescue

Barry is on target to impact the coast of Louisiana Saturday and is expected to become a hurricane by landfall.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi organization Furever United Rescue it's providing Aid to the Pitbulls and Paroles rescue in Lousiana expected to be severely impacted by the tropical storm Barry. 

Forever United will be sending at least two vehicles with volunteers to New Orleans next week to deliver the much-needed supplies.

"Its important to give, back because we got assistance during Hurricane Harvey it helps us to give back to them as well." Said Margaret Obergon with the Furever United Rescue. 

Pitbulls and Paroles, which features on a TV Show on Animal planet, is asking for new or used towels and blankets to use for rescued dogs following the storm as well as bottled water, dog and cat food.

  • -Garbage Bags
  • -Clorox Bleach
