Corpus Christi brewery hosts 'Tails and Ales'

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than sipping beer and petting cute dogs?

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Beer and canine fans united at Lorelei Brewing on Saturday for the 'Tales and Ales' event.

The brewing company, located off of NAS Drive, served their locally made beers while the Gulf Coast Humane Society brought in adoptable dogs.

If dogs and beer wasn't enough to keep the crowd entertained, Coastal Sol, a food truck, stopped by as well.

People were also invited to bring their dogs to the event. An artist, Coastal Caricature was onsite to create drawings of humans and their furry best friend.

Any children who were brought by their parents also had a chance to draw Mother's Day cards at the craft station.

Anyone who donated five dollars or more was given a specialty dog treat made from spent grains at the brewery.

If you're looking for a 'furever' friend, head over to the Gulf Coast Humane Society's website
