The Corpus Christi Fire Department unveiled two new ambulances to be added to their fleet on Wednesday.

The department now has 11 full-time ambulances in service. Officials said four out of five calls that the Fire Department receives are medical calls, and the new additions will be of great help to the department.

Officials said one ambulance will be stationed to Fire Station 3 on Morgan, and the other will be stationed at Fire Station 6 near Weber and Saratoga.
