The Corpus Christi Police Department's Auto Theft Task Force needs your help to catch an auto burglar who struck a pipeline company over the Thanksgiving holiday.

On Wednesday, Nov. 21, a man jumped the fence of a business on the 1600 block of North Lexington Boulevard in Corpus Christi. He broke a vehicle window and took the contents from inside a truck.

The man also broke into a toolbox on a trailer to steal tools, and then took several hours to remove the transmission and other auto parts from a truck.

In all, the thief took about $20,600 worth of property from the business.
