Corpus Christi police need your help catching a suspect that robbed a fast food restaurant on Monday, July 7.

It was around 11:50 p.m. when a 19-year old male was prepping food at the Sonic restaurant in the 13000 block of Northwest Boulevard. Through the window, he saw a man point a gun at a 16-year old girl who worked as a carhop outside.

The 19-year old rushed outside and told the man with the gun that he would give up the money.

The man with the gun went into the restaurant and followed the 19-year old to a safe. After taking all of the cash, the man left and ran toward the back of the building.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a 20-year old male who stands about five-foot 10 and weighs about 165 pounds. He wore a white cap, a blue long-sleeve shirt, gloves, black pants and a mask.
