CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a recent robbery at the IBC Bank in Portland, Texas.
It happened just last week. Police said Nicholas Waller was arrested by the Corpus Christi Police Department in the downtown area over the weekend.
According to police, Waller allegedly walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller. Investigators said they traced the suspect back to a house in the Corpus Christi area and found a large amount of cash there.
Waller has been charged with robbery and is being held in the San Patricio County Jail. His bond has been set at $150,000.
