CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Rebuild Texas Carpentry Skills Training Program is a result of funding from the Rebuilt Texas Fund of which nearly $800,000 has been funneled to help with Hurricane Harvey clean up.
The free 10-week program is taught by professionals in the construction industry.
Courses include: OSHA 30-HR Construction Certification, Construction Math and Measurement, Introduction to Power Tools, Introduction to Blueprint Reading, Communication and Workplace Skills, Tools and Techniques for Carpentry, and Framing and General Construction.'
The next class begins July 29, 2019 and runs through October 1, 2019. Classes are Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
