Often in a crisis you hear incredible stories of good samaritans stepping up their efforts to help out others.

On Sunday, that's what one woman did in the aftermath of Friday's house explosion. Yolanda Mandel says she was driving by Saturday along Holmes Drive and couldn't believe what she saw. She got a good look at all the damage and all the families that were affected.

She decided to help out in any way possible. Yolanda says even the smallest things such as a gift card can go a long way in helping those in need. Officials say the best way to help the victims is by donating to local organizations such as the Red Cross or Salvation Army.
