Driscoll Children's Hospital knows that a hospital setting can be intimidating for children, which is why they try to make their hospital a place that is welcoming for little ones.

On Wednesday, hospital staff showed 3News their latest attempt at that. Their new MRI suite combines entertainment and technology to help ease any anxiety the children might have.

Children get to pick the lighting, the theme and can even watch a movie of their choice.

"They can interact with the lighting. They get to pick the theme. The color brings them in," MRI Coordinator Lisa Ray said. "More inviting for the children."

In the new MRI suite, kids can get their MRI without medicine because they are preoccupied and able to hold still for a longer amount of time.
