Two fire stations were needed to battle a large house fire on the city's southside Sunday evening.
The fire began just before 6:30 on the 6300 block of Grandvilliers Dr. Which is in the Kings Crossing Subdivision.
Fire crews say when they arrived there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage which was fully engulfed and had spread to the home.
Between the two fire crews, they were able to contain the fire within 15 minutes.
There was a family of four inside the home at the time, as well as the family dog.
Everyone was able to get out safely.
