A man who was living in Flour Bluff is now without a home after the RV he was staying in was destroyed by flames Tuesday.

"I woke up and there was smoke coming under the refrigerator, and I reached for the door and I got in my truck, and I got that out of the way, and before I knew it, everything was going up in flames," Garrett Cain said.

The fire broke out just before 11 a.m. at the 100 block of Skipper Lane. It was so intense that it caused damage to two other RVs. The trailer was a complete loss, and Cain said everything he owned was inside.

"All my instruments and everything I own. All my clothes, my boots, my money, everything," Cain said. "I don't know what to think. I'm in shock."

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. As for the victim, a friend came to pick him up from the scene.
