The former owners of the Two George's Seafood restaurant pled guilty in court Thursday to over-charging customers' credit cards for a total of $200,000.
Jim and Michelle Ovecka entered a guilty plea to felony theft, and part of that plea agreement saved them from doing any prison time. Instead, they will receive a sentence of 10-years in probation.
Also as part of the plea deal, the Oveckas will have to pay more than $100,000 in restitution to a credit card company.
The Oveckas admitted to ripping off customers during the months of August and September in 2011. Soon after they were indicted, the pair fled and were later arrested in Arizona.
