A Grand Jury has indicted both Brendon Gaytan and Cruz Salazar on charges of capital murder in connection with the Feb. 16 shooting deaths of two little girls on Cheryl Drive.
Nueces County District Attorney Mark Skurka confirmed the indictment Thursday evening. He has not yet decided whether he will seek the death penalty or life in prison for the two suspects.
Gaytan and Salazar were arrested on Feb. 28 at an apartment in the 800 block of Indiana Avenue. They were both charged with capital murder for shooting and killed six-year old Nevaeh Oliva and two-year old Lilliana Valent.
