CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Age related macula degeneration is when the Macular of the eye is damaged as one ages, especially over the age of 60. There are two forms of it known as Dry and Wet macular degeneration with about 80% of people who suffer from it having the dry form.

It can be treated through various means including drug treatments as well as laser eye surgery.
