MIDLAND, TX (Kiii Sports) - The Hooks needed extra innings Tuesday to snap their two-game losing streak in a 7-6 win over the Midland RockHounds.

Corpus Christi gave up their lead in the 9th, only to answer back in the 10th with a sacrifice fly from Ben Orloff. Patrick Urckfitz came in for the Hooks and struck out the side in the bottom of the 10th to end it. Midland shortstop Dusty Coleman was ejected after being called out on strikes for the second out of the inning.

The two teams will play game three of their four-game series Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in Midland.
