Closing arguments were presented Thursday morning in the trial of Eric Dimick, the last of three young men accused of kidnapping and raping an 11-year old girl in December of 2012. Now, a jury is deciding his fate.
Dimick's lawyers maintain that, while he did take part in the kidnapping of the 11-year old girl from a southside neighborhood, he did not have a role in the sexual assault.
The two other young men arrested and charged in the crime have already been sentenced for their crimes. Jacob Musich was the first to go to trial, and was given 99 years in prison. Colton Visor accepted a plea deal, getting 30 years in prison in exchange for testifying against Dimick.
