A local park that has certainly seen better days received a much needed facelift on Thursday.
Folks from Keller Williams Realty put aside their regular jobs Thursday morning and headed over to Mike Zepeda Park, near Kostoryz and McArdle, to see what they could do to improve things.
They painted fences and basketball goals, and trimmed the brush. It was all part of the company's Red Day initiative. The idea is to give back through community service.
"What Red Day signifies, Renew, Energize and Donate," said Alice Bussey with Keller Williams.
The Red Day initiative is not only taking place there. Associates with Keller Williams all around the country and in Canada are also participating.
