CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - The King Mustangs pulled off a remarkable second half comeback to beat heavily-favored Sharyland 3-2 in penalty kicks and claim the Gulf Coast Soccer Classic Championship.

The Mustangs were down 2-0 at the half before late goals from Austin McIntosh and Sergio Lovenbury sent the game to penalty kicks. The Mustangs outshot the Rattlers 4-1 in PKs to claim the title. (HIGHLIGHTS)

CCISD teams had never won both the boys' and girls' championships in the same year, and that was the case again Saturday as the Carroll girls fell to McAllen Memorial 3-1 in their championship game later in the day. (HIGHLIGHTS)
